Amadea Bailey was featured in the Bill Lowe Gallery Santa Monica April 2007 group show, and has also been well received in the Bill Lowe Gallery Atlanta location. After earning a B.A. in Fine Art and Art History from Yale University, Bailey studied drawing and painting at the New York Studio School in New York City. She has exhibited nationwide for 20 years, and her work has been featured in numerous films and commercials on national television.

California based artist Amadea Bailey uses a variety of mixed media and artistic techniques to create highly textured depictions of inner and outer landscapes and states of mind. Emotionally driven and imbued with spontaneous gestures, Bailey's work touches upon inner psychological and primal impulses:

"I grew up in Africa riding horses in the bush, eating sugarcane by the side of the road, and playing dress-up with banana leaves. I experienced a sense of freedom and abandon, and an immediate connection to the tactile, physical and non-rational worlds. Now, as an adult, my paintings reconnect me to that awakened child of Africa," Bailey explains.
