Gary Komarin is an American artist, born in 1951, whose works are known as being both playful and utterly serious. Gary Komarin is a prolific producer of deceptively simplistic pieces that turn out to be amazingly deep and complex upon studying.

Following his graduation from graduate school, Gary Komarin began teaching in 1978. His love of painting was never fettered by his new lifestyle, and he continued to produce some profound and incredible art.

Gary Komarin can take an everyday object and present it in a way that feels tangibly more real than even the original representation.
