Don Von Vleit, American Legend

In American art circles, the name Don Von Vleit is synonymous with innovation and incredible style. Don Von Vleit is one of few contemporary artists who has found success in both music and fine art, and his work continues to stun and impress the world to this day.

Born in 1941 in California, Don Von Vleit was said to be a child prodigy. He was highly skilled in painting from a very young age, though his music career came before his art career. As a young adult, Don Von Vleit befriended Frank Zappa and played in several bands before moving to California to reinvent himself as an artist.
